Marketing Manager
Antony has 15 years international experience in Commodity Marketing and Shipping. In his most recent role, Antony was a Senior Account Manager with Rio Tinto Shipping based in Singapore, where he was responsible for Rio Tinto Minerals’ (salt, gypsum) shipping and chartering activities. He also played a lead role in executing Rio Tinto’s long term freight strategy (vessel procurement) for the Iron Ore product group. Antony previously held a Manager Marketing role with Robe River Mining Co (from 1998), responsible for the sales and marketing of pisolitic iron ore to Japan, Korea and Taiwan as well as assisting in developing markets in China. He was pivotally involved in the West Angelas Project marketing development, responsible for securing Letters of Intent with major Steel Mills and converting these to long-term sales contracts. He has also held positions with Kanematsu (Japanese trading company) and Griffin Coal.
