Gordon is a mining engineer with post-graduate qualifications in finance. During his operational career, he worked in executive and senior management, and in technical and operational roles across a wide range of commodities, including gold, coal, magnesium and copper/lead/zinc. During this time he had extensive experience in the development and operation of large resource projects in Australia and internationally. Subsequently Gordon worked in investment banking and is currently engaged in funds management as a Principal of Taurus Funds Management Pty Ltd. He is Chairman of Discovery Metals Limited and NuCoal Resources NL.
