Head of Exploration
Graeme holds a B.Sc.(Honours) Geology from University of New South Wales and a MBA from University of Queensland. Graeme joined BCC in early 2004.

Graeme has worked for some 32 years in the mining industry and his career has involved geological exploration initially in coal provinces in New South Wales and Queensland, which culminated in the geological evaluation for the feasibility study on the Ensham Coal Project in 1986. Graeme later assumed responsibility for the significant exploration programs for the Newlands Collinsville Abbot Point Project (NCA). During Graeme’s time at NCA the reserve base for the business was increased some 70% to 170 MT, while the resource base was increased by some 150% to close to 1,000MT (Measured, Indicated and Inferred).

While at BCC Graeme has proven up the Isaac Plains and Isaac Plains South resource areas. Isaac Plains produced first coal in October 2006 from first drilling which started in April 2004. The Eagle Downs project is progressing through a detailed drill evaluation process with a pre-feasibility review due mid year (2008).
