As Project Manager, Kevin is responsible for the overall conduct of the feasibility studies, reporting to the Management Committee.

Kevin is a senior operations and project manager with extensive and diverse experience in mines in Australia and overseas. A Mechanical Engineer by profession, he has held site management, general management and project development roles for the past 20 years. Prior to joining Aquila as the Australian Premium Iron Joint Venture Project Manager, Kevin had previous iron ore experience as Chief Maintenance Engineer, Area Manager and Port Manager for Goldsworthy/BHP prior to moving to Perth, where he became General Manager of the Northern Operations, Cooljarloo Mine and Chandala mineral sands processing site for Tiwest.

More recently, Kevin was General Manager Projects and Engineering for Portman Ltd and managed its expansions into the Windarling and Mt Jackson areas and its subsequent production increase from 5 to 8 Mtpa. At Portman, Kevin was originally engaged as General Manager Project Development to progress a possible down stream iron ore reduction project utilising low quality ore and Salmon Gums lignite.
