Les van Rooyen has over 19 years international and domestic experience as a geologist and geohydrologist. He has worked extensively in various geological and geohydrological projects in South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana. His most recent role was as a geological consultant with Geo Consultants with specific reference to coal exploration projects in Mozambique.
Les previously held various consulting jobs including geological and geohydrological investigations in the Northern Cape Province, South Africa and GIS consulting to the Dept. of Water Affairs and Forestry. He also held positions with the Institute of Groundwater Studies, SOEKOR, JCI, Gold Fields of SA and ARMSCOR.
