Peter has a proven track record with over 20 years experience in mining and exploration title management. Peter worked with the Western Australian Department of Minerals and Energy (as then known) until 1987 at which time he accepted a position in the industry as Tenement Manager. During his time in Government, Peter developed an in depth knowledge of mining and other legislative procedures in his many capacities and as Mining Registrar and Clerk of Courts in country WA.

Since leaving Government, Peter has operated in various jurisdictions including Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Australian States and Territory, but predominantly Western Australia, across a range of commodity types. Peter has been widely involved in Native Title outcomes and Aboriginal Heritage clearances as related to mining tenure and dealings with other landholders, including Government, and has been responsible for negotiating and developing Joint Venture and other Agreements for land access. Previously he has held similar positions in Portman Limited, Aurora Gold and Ashton Mining.
