General Manager – Iron Ore
Russell has 30 years experience in mining operations, finance and project development throughout Australia. A mining engineer, Russell has worked in senior management and operational roles in steel raw materials operations producing iron ore, coal and manganese for both Robe River and BHP Billiton.
Following a short period in as Group Treasurer for North Limited, involved in funding, M&A and risk management, Russell has led project teams in producing bankable feasibility studies for projects such as Hope Downs Iron Ore, for Hancock Prospecting and Kumba Resources of South Africa, and the Karara Magnetite and Mungada Hematite Projects for Thiess in alliance with Gindalbie Metals.
