Business Development Manager - Perth Aquila’s substantial portfolio of coal, iron ore and other minerals projects provides an opportunity for a creative thinker to develop and execute strategies to leverage Aquila’s position within the growth regions of the Bowen Basin in Queensland and the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The successful candidate will be capable of identifying opportunities, initiating contacts and ultimately, negotiating agreements with those parties and reporting to the Executive Chairman. Based in Perth, the Business Development Manager will be required to travel as necessary in respect of Aquila’s Australian project portfolio.

The Senior Exploration Geologist will assist the Exploration Manager in developing strategies to develop viable coal targets and assist in testing these targets through exploration. Based in Brisbane, but with a component of field travel, the successful candidate will oversee and plan safe coal exploration activities within strict budgets and assist with the preparation of JORC compliant resource statements, prepare work scopes for exploration programmes and oversee a range of contractors. There will be a requirement to review and input data, create and assess geological models and prepare reports to assist with EPC requirements.
