Mr Zhou is currently Chief Operating Officer for Aquila Resources and Vice President of Baosteel Resources Australia.
Mr Zhou joined Baowu in 2008. He has worked in Baosteel Resources as the marketing manager on Ferro Alloys and Base Metals before joining Baosteel Resources Australia in 2015. During his stay in Australia, he has taken various roles including project manager and resources analyst, deeply involved in the API project. Since 2018, Mr Zhou has taken the role of Assistant General Manager in Rangers Management Company (Rio Tinto affiliated company) managing the Bao-HI Joint Venture (Eastern Range) on behalf of Baosteel. In 2022, Mr Zhou assumed the role of Vice President of Baosteel Resources Australia, focusing on the iron ore projects development. He took a leading role and contributed significantly to the success of the JV formation of Ashburton project and Western Range project. Mr Zhou graduated from Shanghai Maritime University, China with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Transport Management in 2008.
